Web Wonderland No.7: Back from holidays, stand-up-real-talk comedy, and unleashing our women’s power

Hey guys!

I’m just back from our holidays in the wonderful land of Greece. My family and I spent 10 days on the Ionian island of Lefkada with a short one-day trip to the islands Kefalonia + Ithaka. Now, I’m still processing the journey and I feel it deserves its own proper post. Peculiar things happened to me while I was there and I’m still not able to put them into words.

What inspired me to write this post was a few talks I was having with my partner, a talk/stand-up comedy show I watched and an article on the just passed solar eclipse and new moon. I’d like to share these with you so if you haven’t already go grab a cup of your favourite drink and settle in for a read+treat.

♦ The stand-up comedy show I want to share is only partially a comedy. It’s much more than that and puts across too many subjects that we simply can’t avoid any longer. It’s real, it’s brutal and it’s the truth. I highly recommend watching it.

Hannah Gadsby’s Nanette

♦ This article on the Solar Eclipse that just occurred, in terms of Evolutionary Astrology, might give you a different perspective into astrology altogether. My personal belief is that we’re all here to evolve. In fact this is very much connected to Hannah Gadsby’s show. We are all called to evolve as human beings and as a species. I feel that “God” will continue “trowing” challenges at us, the human race, until we do find the ability to change, outgrow the old and evolve.

New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Cancer

I want to share more on both of these points because they’re connected. I will repeat myself to say that my belief is that we will continue to experience challenges in our human world as a whole until we reach a point and evolve as a kind. The world and our reality is only getting more and more complex, sexuality and how we identify in terms of gender only being one example. We are getting more diverse than ever and that is only likely to continue to expand. If we’re not able to respond to this diversity with acceptance, compassion and love (instead of judgement and fear) we will simply die as a race. We will self-destruct, and this is pretty much what we’ve been doing. So we’re being called to look beyond our differences, question our own beliefs, question the powers to be, and everything we’ve been taught, fed as information, manipulated and groomed to accept as a norm. We’re being called to wake-up, take responsibility, grow-up and mature as species. Or we will be gone soon enough.

♦ Ever feared public speaking? You and I are not alone! Apparently most of the people do. Here’s a podcast that might change your perspective on what that fear is about. (Not intending, this is also connected to the previous points – unleash those women’s voices!)

♦ Speaking of unleashing, I want to introduce you to someone I recently “met”. Pure, soul, sister, Katie believes the secret to happy fulfilled life leis in unlocking our sexuality and bringing on pleasure!

♦ And lastly, another gorgeous woman with amazing abilities, knowledge and experience. I’m to explore more of her work but what I’ve already explored is soul transforming.
