Web Wonderland No.7: Back from holidays, stand-up-real-talk comedy, and unleashing our women’s power

    15th July 2018 /

Hey guys! I’m just back from our holidays in the wonderful land of Greece. My family and I spent 10 days on the Ionian island of Lefkada with a short one-day trip to the islands Kefalonia + Ithaka. Now, I’m still processing the journey and I feel it deserves its own proper post. Peculiar things happened to me while I was there and I’m still not able to put them into words. What inspired me to write this post was a few talks I was having with my partner, a talk/stand-up comedy show I watched and an article on the just passed solar eclipse and new moon. I’d like to…

    28th November 2017 /

The last month and a half I disappeared from the blogging space. I didn’t have much to say, my mind was fuzzy and I felt tired most of the time. I went very internal and even though I didn’t know what was going on with me I trusted the process and was patient with was unfolding. Just recently I realised that this time was Scorpio season. I won’t get into details but I have a lot of Scorpio in my birth chart – it’s not a coincidence that personal transformation is one of my favourite subjects. What also resides in this element of the zodiac for me, is a little…

I am grateful for where I am on my journey. I am grateful for the mud I had to come through. I am grateful for the waters that held me while I was rising up. I am grateful for the air that touched my skin upon my resurfacing. I am grateful for the roots that kept me in place. I am grateful for the process, for the journey, for the experience, for my life. On 15th October it was 7 years since the death of my mother. Here’s what I wrote:   I was only 26 at the time. I remember trying to rationalise and intellectualise the shock of her…

Dear, I love you! I cherish you! I thank you for being the vessel for my soul! You are beautiful, you are worthy, you are precious! You deserve to be happy, you deserve to follow your dreams, you deserve to honour your path. You don’t have to hold on to the past, you do not need to keep the painful memories, you do not need to suffer anymore. You don’t have to be unhappy because someone else is unhappy, you do not need to commiserate with their pain. That won’t help ease their pain, that won’t make them feel better. You have the right to put your needs first, you…

A solo adventure and a glance into a past life

    27th April 2017 /

Over the weekend I went to an event. It was one of these “random” things you find knowing they have showed up to you for a reason. It consisted of a talk and a group meditation led by a professional regressionist. We discussed the subjects of regression, past lives, reincarnations, ego, soul evolution, and more. After that we did a 40 minute meditation bringing us back to a past life. First of all, I really was scared of going by myself. First I got a friend of mine to join but then she cancelled. I knew I had to do this, not giving up on the opportunity, by myself. These…

    4th March 2017 /

Hey You! March is here – one of my favourite months – the winter’s pretty much over, the sun’s warming up everything back to life, and in Bulgaria we have the most colourful and meaningful celebrations. First of March is the day of Baba Marta (Granny March) – it marks the arrival of spring and we put on red and white woven martenitsi to symbolise health and longevity.  Third of March is our Liberation Day, when Bulgaria was liberated from the Ottoman Rule which lasted around 500 years. Eighth of March is the International Women’s Day which is widely celebrated around the world and is still quite big in Bulgaria…

Breaking free of our mental prisons

    9th June 2016 /

I mentioned in my last post that I’ve kept myself into a sort of a mental prison. After talking to my therapist about it and going for a walk after, it came to me – another piece of the puzzle. After the dreams about my past lives, I had another few empowering dreams – one symbolising letting go of the burden I’ve been carrying by throwing things out of a backpack I’ve been carrying, and another – expressing myself freely by singing to a song I don’t remember the words of but nevertheless singing loudly and freely. To me, those dreams symbolise my emotional release of the trauma I’ve been lugging around…

    Past life explorations

    3rd June 2016 /

Last time I put my story under a different light and illuminated it within a new perspective. I looked into my life from the angle of radical (self) forgiveness. In short, radical forgiveness is about the idea that whatever happened to us (seeing ourselves as victim) or whatever we did to someone else (seeing ourselves as perpetrator), nothing wrong ever occurred. The people participating in the event on both sides have agreed on spiritual level to experience it so their souls can evolve. It’s all perfect and as it should be. Thus, skipping the traditional meaning of forgiveness, we address our concerns to our spiritual self and forgive whomever hurt us or ourselves…

Four things I’ve learned from going through a crisis

    29th October 2015 /

“A crisis gives you the opportunity to face your deepest flaws and fears, take responsibility for your life, and turn the pain something beautiful.” For the last 5 years I have been going through some tough times. Living away from my family and friends in a foreign country, losing two of my closest people to cancer and trying to cope with motherhood and unemployment is roughly describing the picture. Yet, these hardships prompted me to explore my life situation and find the lessons in it. Here’s what I’ve learned. 1. Take the Time to Process First of all that means to acknowledge that something is happening to you. Try not…
